The HOC BX42R reigns king of 4 Inch PTO Wood Chippers due to its dual infeed rollers, North American parts and manufacturing process, economical price and patent pending Power Suction System. This unit will enable the operator to feed 4 Inch diameter wood into the hopper effortlessly making instant by product that can be used as mulch or for creative landscaping projects.

The HOC BX42R employs a generously sized infeed hopper opening measuring 20" x 20", which gradually narrows down to a 11" x 7.5" opening. Here, the 6.5" diameter hydraulically driven Dual infeed rollers grabs branches and hauls them into the chipper. This wood chipper can process branches ranging from a mere ¼" in diameter to as large as 4" in diameter. For effortlessly chipping full 4" diameter logs at the maximum infeed speed, tractors with over 20 HP at the PTO are recommended.

Branches are drawn into the HOC BX42R through the use of a (2) 6.5” diameter infeed rollers, which are powered by 2 hydraulic motors. This roller offers adjustability in both direction and speed, simplifying the process of feeding branches of various shapes and sizes. To ensure effective branch retrieval, the roller's downward pressure can be fine-tuned using two substantial springs, eliminating the necessity for manual feeding.

The meticulously balanced 25" 120 lb Canadian made diameter flywheel, constructed from solid 1/2" thick steel, is mounted on a sturdy 2" diameter shaft and is reinforced by two robust industrial bearings that can be lubricated for maintenance. This flywheel is designed with four precision CNC-machined pockets to securely house the reversible blades. Additionally, it incorporates four substantial fan blade paddles that rotate at speeds exceeding 540 RPM.

The HOC BX42R Wood Chipper is equipped with a flywheel locking pin, designed to make blade replacement or flywheel maintenance both convenient and safe. This pin is designed to effortlessly slot into a set of strategically placed holes, allowing for easy access to every blade with the use of standard tools during blade reversal or replacement.

HOC Chippers employ 4 Canadian made hardened steel chipper blades, each of which has two cutting edges positioned 90 degrees apart. These blades can be flipped to utilize both edges on a single blade doubling there longevity. Blade replacement is a swift process, courtesy of the innovative 1 Bolt Clamshell design of the flywheel housing.

The 360-degree rotating discharge chute, adjusted with 1 handle, provides versatile control over wood chip direction, regardless of the chipper's position. At 62" above the ground, it's easy to guide chips into a truck or trailer. The chute also features a North American Throttle controlled Top Deflector, offering precise control over the distance.
